We live in a time where the quality of our relationships has diminished. You can blame social media. You can blame modern transactional consumer culture. You can blame the decline in social institutions that once supported quality relationships.
Whatever the causes, we need to focus on how to strengthen our relationships with one another.
When I saw the announcement for Alex Carabi’s book, On Relationality: Lessons from Martin Buber on Living in Relation with Self, Others, the World, and Life Itself, I knew that I needed to invite him on The Eddy Network Podcast.
It was ironic that just a couple of days before a friend had shared a quote out of Martin Buber’s I-Thou. I had not thought of Buber or his book in fifty years. Here in a matter of days, two references. I’m paying attention.
Within minutes of seeing the announcement of his book, I invited him on the podcast. What you will see is our first conversation. Thanks, Alex.
