Anthony Howard returns as a guest on The Eddy Network Podcast. Since we last talked over a year ago, Anthony has traveled the world talking with people about humanity, society, and the future. You can read about his work at his Substack, Sensemaking.
As with all my guests, I never have a precise plan for our conversations. In this instance, I did. I wanted to know what he had learned. Our conversation began with the recognition that we are in a Dark Ages, begging for a new Renaissance. We also talked about the loss of his son last January and his deep love and appreciation for him.
In this episode, I include two clips. One from an episode of Dr. Who where the Doctor and Amy Pond meet painter Vincent Van Gogh. The other clip is from the inaugural concert of Hamburg’s new Elbphilharmonie concert hall. Each clip illustrates the conversation that we are having at that moment.
Since our conversation, I’ve been thinking about how The Eddy Network can do more with the theme of art and Rensaissance. If you have thoughts, please share.
Thank you Anthony for joining me on The Eddy Network Podcast.
