My guest on this episode of The Eddy Network Podcast is Bruce Anderson, Executive Director of the Core Gift Institute.
Bruce is a quiet, humble man with a unique and transformative insight into who we are as human beings. This profound perspective provides a path of transformation from seeing ourselves as utilities of strength in an organization to nurturers of the giving of the Core Gift that we each have.
This is an idea whose times have come as we transition out of the tired culture of the machine into a new world of human interaction and community. Welcome to the podcast Bruce.

Who is Bruce Anderson?
Bruce Anderson is the Executive Director of the Core Gift Institute, who travels the world as an internationally recognized organizational consultant and coach. He is a co-founder of the Core Gift Discovery reflection tool, which helps people sort through their abilities and identify their Core Gift, the purposeful gift they want to bring, more than anything else, to all parts of their lives. The work of the Institute is to move beyond the current "strengths" tools that list people's abilities and to reclaim the model of gifts. Indigenous and spiritual practices have long used gifts as a way to orient people towards a purposeful life path, identify their primary contribution to the world around them, and find healing and wholeness.
Bruce has lived in remote Alaskan villages and the Seattle area and has been a mayor, commercial fisherman, homebuilder, and guide on pilgrimage walks in Europe. He currently teaches 10 different courses on different aspects of gift theory and practical use and consults with organizations and coaches individuals. He lives on a few acres with his wife, Gina, on Vashon Island near Seattle and spends his non-teaching/consulting time tending his chickens and gardens.
His Core Gift is: "My core gift is helping people use their imagination to find a new hopefulness. I give it by helping them have an intense curiosity about what’s around the next corner, remember that answers are often in the soft underbelly of what is unspoken, only make agreements when love is at the core, and stand by them as they slog through the muck of change to get to the thresholds where love is revealed so they can find their way home."
