David Harkins and I crossed paths a decade or more ago. He was working for the Boy Scouts of America. I had just stepped down as the scoutmaster of my sons’ scout troop. I’ve followed his path of the past decade through his academic program to today where he serves as an assistant professor of social entrepreneurism at Belmont University.

A few weeks ago, David and I recorded an episode of The Eddy Network Podcast about social entrepreneurship. After we finished recording, I asked if we could get some students to come on the podcast and be interviewed. He said, “Yes.”
