Change is not only a steady state in the world, but it is an essential part of growth, innovation, and discovery.
The challenge is that most organizations that I have known treat change, innovation, entrepreneurship, and disruption as a dangerous threat.
It was my privilege to be introduced to Ed Essey of Microsoft who is a leader in their innovation efforts. Our conversation was so keen that it takes up two episodes of the podcast.
Let me suggest that you not listen to become a fan of Microsoft, but rather seek to model their value system of change.
Change is going to happen. You either decide to lead it or be led by it. It is your choice.
