Part two of my conversation with Ed Essey of The Microsoft Garage goes deeper into the role of technology, AI, change, and the future.
Ed offers many inspiring thoughts about how AI should exist to optimize human intelligence and productivity. He makes the point several times that Microsoft’s AI program is call Co-Pilot is an expression of the company’s mission:
To empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
When I asked about the future, he spoke of the emergence of Wise Technology. He sees this technology moving beyond the technology that we have had, to one that provides insights on the optimization of well-being.
Listening to him, I realize that it does not take large numbers of people to create an impact on the level of a movement. I take away from my conversation optimism that we will continue to address the potential and liabilities of technology.
Enjoy my conversation with Ed Essey.
