The postmodern view of time resembles this.
“There is no past, nor future. Only the now.
All that once was considered in time has vanished into a simulation.”
The tumbleweed of time is another way to describe time in our time.
We experienced time as forward movement in the midst of chaos. Like a tumpbleweed being blown across a desert plain.
We master time by looking back for "generational memory" to reestablish an understanding of the continuity of time.
We act in the present with an eye toward creating a future of effects that fulfill the continuity of time.
Seeing time as “the eternal present” is limited, restricted, and ultimately isolating understanding of who we are as persons in time.
