A Conversation about Community
My hometown radio station, WTOB, interviewed me for their Piedmont Perspectives public affairs show. We talk about being rooted in a community and living in a global context.
In 2020, I moved back to my home state of North Carolina. I live about 45 minutes from where I grew up.
As I reconnected with people, I was invited to have a conversation with the local radio station WTOB in Winston-Salem, my hometown.
I hope you enjoy it. If you like this kind of focused conversation, let me know. I’m launching The Eddy Network in the New Year.
The Eddy Network will have three different channels.
The Eddy Network: Global will cover the world.
The Eddy Network: Local will focus on specific local communities working with local radio stations to interview local people about their community. The interview below is the first for The Eddy Network: Local- Winston-Salem. Each podcast will be posted on the WTOB website, and edited versions presented over the air.
If you are from Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina, and you know someone that you think we should interview, reach out to me. Let’s talk about who you think should be interviewed.
If you live anywhere in the world, the same holds true. I am interested in meeting people who have a story to tell about how they or their group is making a difference in their community.
There will be a third The Eddy Network channel that I will announce later next year.
To see what one of these interviews is like check out those that I have done over the past few months.

Find me at my Facebook page, my LinkedIn page, my Substack page, or through my email. We’ll talk.
You can also find the books that I have written at here.
Enjoy our conversation. Let’s do more.
Look forward to listening - will be a perfect companion while making soup. :-)
