You describe some intuitions I sometimes forget to live by. And when that happens the creep of dissatisfaction is insidious.

Be kind to yourself. We live in a world that doesn’t want you to live by your wits. Becoming aware is a good first step in restoring our sense of self-sufficiency.

This is deep! I suspect several elements of this essay need further contemplation and development as a result. Thanks to the author for raising this perspective.

I’m a proponent of wholeness in my own life and philosophy : integrity — from integer , meaning one, a single unit. When wholeness is damaged, treatment of symptoms can quickly become counter productive.
